VeRO Detect is a browser extension that checks product listings you view on
eBay, Amazon and AliExpress against eBay's VeRO programme and UK
restricted-item rules, to help sellers avoid policy violations. This is its
single purpose.
None. VeRO Detect has no server. We do not collect, transmit, store,
sell or share any personal information, browsing history, or usage data.
There are no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts.
supported site, the extension reads that page's title and details inside
your browser to run its rule checks. This content never leaves your
device, except in the one optional case below.
AI API key (Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic) in the extension's
settings and click "Deep check", the current listing's text is sent
directly from your browser to that AI provider using your key, under
that provider's privacy policy. This never happens automatically. Your API
keys are stored only in your browser's local extension storage and are
never sent anywhere except to the provider you chose.

We share no data with anyone, because we hold no data. We do not sell data,
do not use data for advertising, and do not transfer data to data brokers.
Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored settings. To have any
